Dr. Busquet is a French toxicologist with a PhD in Life Sciences (TU Dresden, Germany; 2008) and a Master Degree of Sciences in Biotechnology (ENSTBB, France; 2003). He has worked for the last 10 years in the field of toxicology/safety testing which covered experiences in the private sector (Toxicology institute of Merck KgaA) and within EU institution (EURL ECVAM). He has already produced great contributions to the toxicology by developing one test method (mDarT) in developmental toxicology and coordinated the validation of the fish embryo toxicity test (OECD TG 236).
In 2012, he founded Altertox to represent CAAT Johns Hopkins University (USA) and CAAT-Europe University of Konstanz and coordinate their EU Policy Program in Brussels. In 2016, he created a training offer subcontracted to CAAT-Europe and named CAAT Academy (2016-2017).
He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the School of Public Policy at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Mr. Prachkovski is the Altertox Junior Project Manager since February 2017. At Altertox, Mr. Prachkovski oversees the preparation of the hands-on- training sessions.
He coordinates the interaction with the suppliers, the participants and the host to ensure high quality training delivery. His work also encompasses elaboration, participation, and coordination in research grant proposals, promotion on social networks, market evaluation and scouting for business opportunities. Mr Prachkovski provided insights of his work at Eurotox 2017 with a poster on “Hands-On Training in 3Rs: A tentative endeavor to fill in the gap” .
Aurélia Anssens joined the Altertox Academy team in January 2018 as the Communication Manager. Aurélia holds a Master in Strategic Communication (ISTC INstitute of Strategies and Technics of Communication, Lille, FRANCE – 2011) with a specialty in companies’ and institutions’ communication. During her studies, she wrote an essay concerning «Alzheimer – possible influences of health communication on early diagnosis ». She spent a semester in Mount Saint Vincent University (Halifax – CANADA) where she focused especially on visual communication (graphic design and photography).
After graduating, she worked for 5 years as communication manager/graphic designer/photographer for the City of Mons en Baroeul (Lille area – FRANCE). In 2017 she created KOALIA and started to work as a freelance photographer and graphic designer.
She is mainly responsible for all graphic productions such as the new graphic identity of ALTERTOX, flyers, newsletter and programs.
